In Front of our eyes a fourth industrial revolution is occuring. Powering this revolution is cloud computing and many other technological advancements that underpin it. Organisations that embrace the revolution will be rewarded with digital supremacy and the ability to compete and win. However, concerns around the environmental impact from exponential growth of computing hardware and IT / communications infrastructure should be addressed by participants of the technology industry. Zscaler is helping its customers transform into cloud and mobile native participants of the revolution, while at the same time helping them realise astonishing efficiencies and reduction of carbon footprint as a byproduct of these changes. This presentation offers highlights from a case study on the positive impact of moving away from a legacy approach to securing a modern global business.

Speaker Bio: Phill Woon CISSP has over 10 years of networking and cyber security experience with a BSc degree in computer networking for business. Having previously worked for a number of market leading technology providers tasked with helping customers solve problems around information protection, threat defence and secure mobile working, it was apparent that the consistent key issue was trying to use old outdated security models and architecture to solve new problems. Today he works closely with Major accounts on digital transformation projects that support business initiatives ultimately making companies more agile and competitive.
